My condolences to Robin's family. I worked with Robin while she was at Methodist Hospital. It was a pleasure working with her. She was very professional and a very nice person. May her soul rest in peace!

Thank you so very much for your kind words of comfort. It is almost a year since we lost our Robin. The pain and loneliness is as strong as ever. Robin meant the world to her family and she is
forever missed. But we know one thing for sure, that is she will never have to suffer again. She was ill for over a year. She fought a tremendous fight all the way until the end.
Thanks again...I am Robins Mother, my name is Sherli Allen.
Bless you and your family

Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss . Robin was an awesome woman. She never took no for an answer an knew how to make things happen. She was a great resource for anything you needed to know and if she didn't know, she would find out for you! Robin was smart and a trailblazer and taught her daughter to be the same.
Jeff and I will always be here for you Sherli and Camryn.

Where do I begin when trying to talk about my friend Robin Allen (I ALWAYS called her by her full name). We met while working together at Thirteen/WNET in the late 90s, and became fast friends. Robin had the type of personality that pulled people into her. She was always friendly and laughed easily. She was a fabulous cook, and had an experimental palate. Once you were Robin's friend, you were her friend for life. While you may not speak to her for a while, when you did it was like you just spoke to her yesterday. I remember her coming to visit me in NJ for our mini shopping sprees. She also came to NC a few times. We always had fun. I remember how happy she was when she got pregnant and delivered Lady Camryn. She was so proud and happy to be a mom. Lady Camryn was the apple of her eye. Her breath. Her life.

I have many fond memories of Robin Allen -- all of our adventures and hilarious conversations. I miss you my friend. Alot!

I was shocked to learn of Robin's passing. She was a free spirit and I think of the song Fly, Robin, Fly. May she soar into the clouds and enjoy the freedom that she sought. My heart goes out to a very dear friend of mine, Sherli Allen. This is a sorrow that should never befall a parent.

My sincere condolence goes out to the Allen Family. I am saddened by the news and wanted to say I am deeply sorry for you loss. I knew Robin for a very short time as we were both on the PTA executive board at Curtis High School. She was a very nice and caring person who extended herself to every cause and she will be greatly missed. I regret not being able to pay my respects as I too am going through a time of grief, but just wanted to say to the family keep your spirits up, remember the good times and keep her memory alive. God Bless you all and Peace be with you as it was already granted to Robin. Know that she is most certainly in a better place.
