I'm sorry for the loss in the family. Mr. Byrd was one of the funny, loving and caring patients we ever dealt with. He's a great loss. May he rest in peace. He's in the great hands of God, and he is watching us. May he protect and keep us safe.

Prayers and love sent to everyone in the passing of Baby Ray. I always remember that our birthdays were one day apart. His smile is what I will always remember and also knowing there were 2 Teresa Byrds in his life. Family, rest in knowing everything about Baby Ray that we loved so much will live on in the hearts and love we share with each other. I will continue praying and know God is a comforter and lean on him for strength during such a time as this.

I guess I'll start by saying I'm sorry. 20 years is a long time and out of those 20 years I didn't come see you as much as I should have. All I know is the times the girls and I did come see you it was great times. We will all miss you dearly. Amoni and Rayven told me to tell you "they love you Papa and will miss you." Words can not express the sadness in my heart, but I know you're in a better place where there is no illness. We love you Grandpa Ray and you will be missed. Sleep in Peace Papa!!!!

I lost my best friend that was like a father to me and my siblings. The World is no better without him. Clad Preston Byrd Jr. affectionately known as 'Ray' was a great man among men, he would sacrifice himself to see you survive another day. He was a man of God and he fellowshipped with family, friends and with folk in the community. He spoke in a tongue where you'd understand him annexed with his anecdotal experiences. He would deliver food to the needy and care for others. Without him I would have flunked Math. He challenged me to be the best that I could be in life. For that alone I'm grateful that you accepted me in your family and in your life. Thanks for always being there for us. Say hello to Mr. Clad Byrd Sr., my Pops and Lil Kenny for me.
