Virginia Ophelia Jackson, 86, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

Virginia was born May 19,1937 to the late Wilbur and Pearline Alexander in Decatur, Alabama. She was the third eldest of 9 brothers and 2 sisters. Virginia then relocated to live in New York City with her husband Elder Charles Jackson. From this union came two children that Virginia loved very much. She would become a caretaker for over 40 years before retiring in the late 2000s.  Virginia was a true child of the Lord, she loved going to church and worshiped her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She also enjoyed watching western movies and tv shows. Her most favorite was Walker Texas Ranger. She was truly an inspiring person to everyone who knew her.

Virginia is proceeded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Pearline, her husband Charles, daughter Mary and granddaughter Samantha.

 Virginia leaves behind to cherish her memories:

Her son Andre, 1 granddaughter Ariel, 2 great grandchildren Tyre and Kandena, 1 sister Edwina and 3 brothers Lateef, Larry and Alexander, and a host of nieces and nephews.
