Shannon Connolly, age 44, passed away on June 24th, 2023, in Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

Shannon Connolly was born on August 10th,1978 in Staten Island Hospital to her parents, Madeleine and Patrick Connolly. Shannon was a loving, caring, and kindhearted person who loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Shannon was deeply involved in arts & crafts, along with her passion for cooking. She enjoyed recreating delicious meals she has had and/or found on the internet, as well as D.I.Y art projects such as dreamcatchers, bracelets, and many other resin crafts.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a kindhearted person with a great sense of humor, who had nicknames for everybody she loved. Shannon would always be there with a helping hand, willing to give the clothes off her back to help her loved ones. Shannon is survived by her mother Madeleine Connolly; Her brother Kerry Connolly; Her two sons, Jimmy Connolly and Kaiden Kimbrough; Her two cousins Stacey Wachsmuth and Dana Valerino; and all of her nieces and nephews that she cared deeply for. She is preceded in death by her father Patrick Connolly; Her godson Lamar “Manman” Vanterpool.

A funeral is scheduled on July 8th, 2023, from 4-6 PM for the viewing and 6-7 PM for the services at Stradford Funeral Home in her birthplace of Staten Island. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Shannon Connolly’s life. The family would like to thank everyone who sent their support and condolences.
