Kennith E. Showell, 72, entered eternal life on Thursday, June 22, 2023 Kennith was born September 14, 1950 in Washington, DC. He is preceded in death by his parents Elma and Clinton Showell and siblings Lawrence and Patrice Showell.
Kenneth received his childhood education in Bishopville, SC where he received his diploma in 1967. He then joined the United States Army serving 2 years in the Vietnam war. He was then discharged in 1970 with honors. For 22 years, Kennith worked for the New York City transit MABSTOA retiring with great accomplishments and achievements. He also enjoyed being a comedian, making people laugh, love sports, traveling and watching old western movies.
Kennith had a special relationship with his children. But the joy of his life was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was very close with his best friend and companion, Hattie McQueen. Kennith was very appreciative of the things she has done for him. Thank you very much.
Kennith leaves to cherish his memories: lifelong partner, Hattie McQueen.
11 siblings Larry, Tijuana, Anthony, Bo, Kevin, Leonard, Karin, Ronell and Earl.
His children: (Son-in-Law) Terry and Teresa Price, Ashanty Carroll, Karena Carroll, Kenney Carroll.
He leaves: 6 grand children, 6 great-grand children, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
