Horace was famously known for his nickname “Doc”. He loved basketball, he loved to referee the game. He loved to dance as well as play his oldies from the 70’s. This included The Spinners, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, The Temptations, etc. Horace loved to have a good time. He enjoyed his life, just ask all his friends.
Horace went to McKee High School. In the 70’s he worked in Willowbrook School and Harlem Hospital. For a total of twenty-two years Horace worked with United Cerebral City and State Programs.
Horace is survived by his daughter Nakia Jefferson, Horace’s grandchildren Natasia Johnson, Jay-Twan Le'Mon and Christopher Harrison Jr and two great grandchildren Yani and Maliyah. His siblings Genevieve, Arnold, Van, Joseph, Cheryl, and Louella. His parents Elijah and Catherine, predeceased. His sister Marlene and Gwendolyn, predeceased. He has a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
