Eureatha Connolly was born February 18, 1950, to Alex Grimsley and Edna Bradley in the Borough of Richmond and entered into sweet rest on August 13, 2021 at the age of 71 peacefully in her home in Delaware.
Eureatha, lovingly known as “Cookie”, having been born in Staten Island, remained a native resident of the borough up to and through 2014 when she transitioned to Delaware to live with her daughter and grandchildren for the final seven years of her life.
Eureatha was married in 20—to Ronald Connolly who proceeded her in transitioning in February 2012 after 20 years of partnership and marriage.
Eureatha was most proud of her one and only child (Altheda) and her three grandchildren… for they brought meaningful purpose and joy to her life. Eureatha was also most cherished, appreciated and loved by her family as the one and only “Aunt Cookie” having shared a dynamic relationship with and taking a special place in the hearts of each one of her many nieces and nephews. Eureatha lived comfortably with her daughter Altheda in Delaware for the last divinely ordered seven years and seven months of her life where she experienced the peace, joy, travel, rest, and family love of her lifetime – that which she so richly deserved.
Eureatha leaves behind to celebrate her LifeForce her daughter Altheda Debroux-Belfor; her grand-children Kiara Colon-Torres, Khalil Harvey, and Janiyah Belfor. Kiara’s daughter Jade and Janiyah’s son Jacobi and Khalil’s on the way son Saint! and forever is their Chief Guardian –
She is survived as well by her beloved Nephews: William Harris, Phillip Harris, Daryl Grady, Johnell Hill, David Hill, Ronald Hill, Felix Harris , and Quadir Mitchell Nieces: Renee Harris, Charisse Harris, Barbara Hunter, Lorraine Ramos, Helkie Harris, Kiera Harris. My Mother’s affinity extended towards her in-law Nieces Ann, Beverly, and Nhjela and theirs towards her as well.
