In loving Memory of Edwin, who fought a good fight; he kept the faith and finished his race. The sun rose on Edwin Alonzo McNair on April 12, 1958. The sun set on Edwin on September 5, 2022 in Staten Island Hospital of New York.

Edwin attended St. Phillips Baptist Church of Staten Island, NY. He attended McKee High School and then joined the Army. His combat (D11-5th Platoon training took place in Fort Gordon, Georgia September 6, 1976. His work and hobbies consisted of carpentry work on residential houses and assisted friends when needed. He also enjoyed dancing with his sisters and others. Edwin enjoyed a good joke and cooking.

Edwin was preceded in death by his parents Willie E. and Maggie R. McNair. His daughter, Lovietta McNair. An older brother Charles Brown, of Bolton NC, Mechia A. and Iris L. McNair (Sisters) of North Carolina. Surviving to cherish his memories is a sister: B. Helena McNair of Hallsboro, NC and Willis L. McNair of Staten Island. His Children are Kerrigan and Kasem of Bronx, New York.

Also; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and friends to carry on his memoires.
