Dolores Carrington-Faponle

Dolores Carrington-Fanponle, 58 passed suddenly at her home in New Brighton on May 14, 2020.  Dolores also known as Dee Dee to family and friends grew up in West Brighton but moved to New Brighton 30 years ago.  She was a loving daughter, sister and cousin and those who were close enough to her for her to call a friend.  She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandmother who she would visit every other week and every holiday.  Dolores “Dee Dee” also enjoyed going to Church which if a holiday fell on a Sunday she would say, “I will see you guys next week or on Thursday” so she could attend church.  She also enjoyed music and watching old TV shows on TVOne.

Dolores was preceded in death by her mother Rose Reid and is survived by her father, Wilfred Carrington, Sr., brother Champagn Carrington, sisters Jacqueline Jones, Donna Carrington, grandmother Gladys Cherry, cousins Wanda Cherry, Barbara Cherry, Christine Cherry, Michelle Cherry, Monique Gravely, Brianna Cherry, Victoria Jinks, Jada Jinks and Caitlynn Quintana and nephew Kevin Brailsford, Jr. and two great nieces and two great nephews.
