Damon Charles Irizarry

Damon Charles Irizarry Senior went home to be with the Lord on December 19, 2023, in Staten Island, New York.  He was 52 years old.

 Damon was born at Marine Hospital in Staten Island on February 17, 1971.  Damon is the son of Charles Irizarry and Mildred (Milagro) Garcia- Irizarry.   Damon grew up in Mariners Harbor.  He attended St. Roch's Elementary School and went to Port Richmond High School.   He would eventually go on to get his GED.

Damon is best known for his infectious smile.  He loved to cook, and he loved his family.  Those closest to him knew he loved music, especially hip-hop.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Millie; his Father, Charlie, along with his sisters, Justina Irizarry-Jacobs, Alexis Irizarry, and Kim Rodriguez Loggins; and his sons, Damon Charles Irizarry Junior and Esai Luis Irizarry, along with a host of extended family members, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and two Beautiful granddaughters; Nomi and Ani.

His oldest son, Mark Anthony Bajandas, transitioned in 2021.
