Carl earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Early Childhood Education from The City College of New York (CCNY). Carl retired from teaching in 2013. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force and a firm believer of equality and the right to vote.
Carl was the neighborhood dad that everyone came to know and love. Anyone who knew Carl knows that he absolutely loved the Lord, his family, and music. He was a long time member of Bridge Street AME church in Brooklyn prior to moving to Staten Island.
