In the year of our Lord, 1958 on the 3rd of September in Manhattan, New York, Andrew Ford Browne, commonly known as "Drew", was born to Andreline Browne and James Browne.
After completion of High School, Andrew entered the United States Army where he went on to serve our country for many years. There he toured many countries including South Korea, where he shared some of his fondest memories. Andrew was a jack of all trades. Throughout his lifetime he maintained several odd jobs as a Taxi Driver and Street Vendor, just to name a few. He sold "Ice-Cold Water", across the river in the financial district of Manhattan and always thought of the most clever one-liners to attract customers.
Andrew was a family man whose radiant personality touched almost everyone who knew him. He was the life of the party without trying and when he entered the room, his presence was felt. He was kind, trusting and determined-he always did everything he set his mind to, even in the most bizarre scenarios. Andrew was a selfless man who always put others before him.
Andrew, the last of three children unexpectedly made his transition into eternal life on January 31, 2021. We will forever remember how much he touched all of our lives. He will be greatly missed. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Andreline Browne and James Browne, his sister Tracey Johnson, and brother James Browne.
Andrew is survived by five daughters: Shanelle Browne, Shante Clark, Precious Samples, Arabia Samples and Andrea Samples; one son, Kareem Clark; six grandchildren: Shanice Cheeyoung, Jaquell Clark, Taj Clark, Navorn Clark, Arianna Stark and Alani Spencer, his aunt Gladys Robinson and long-time companion Bridgette Browning.
