Albert Peters Obituary

Albert Brother Peters, Jr was born on February 17, 1954 at Harlem Hospital in New York City. He was born to Jean Marie Robinson and Albert Brother Peters, Sr. Albert attended Charles Evans High School and Staten Island College. Al was a man of many talents. A chef by trade, a motor engineer for Amtrak for over 10 years, and the very successful owner of Brothers Security One. When Albert moved to Staten Island, he became a community activist. He was a very articulate individual with a mastered vocabulary, he truly had the gift of gab. He knew how to rally the support of any crowd. Albert had such a passion for reading, words were like money to him. Music was in his soul. Whether playing the drums, listening to jazz or r&b; it was part of his peace and balance.

Albert leaves behind wife Oumie Peters, sons Kaliph and Sheikh Peters, mother Jean Marie Robinson-Peters, brothers Reuben Brother Peters and Jamie Brother Peters, sister Diane J Peters-Daniels, nieces Tyisha Potter, Nicole Jamison, Natasha Peters, and Nigera Whittaker, nephews Bryant Jamison, Rashan Peters, Isaiah Daniels, Jacob Herrera, Joseph Herrera, Amia Richardson, Shareef Richardson, and a host of family that loved him dearly.

He was known as Albert, Albbie, and Toddles if you were family. Albert was a leader within his community and an elder within his family. We looked forward to Uncle Toddles live performances and heartfelt speeches. He will be missed, and in his words, to remember our beloved we say, Ashe’!!!
