Samuel Beatty Obituary

Samuel Aaron Beatty was born on December 19, 1964, in Brooklyn New York to the late Leander Beatty and Margaret McRae. He was the youngest of 10 children. In 1974 Samuel and his family moved to Staten Island New York. He was 11 years old.

He attended Curtis High School and completed his education at New York Business School. During his high school years, Samuel was an avid sportsman, and he loved to play basketball in New Brighton with his friends.

He started his career at Mount Loretto Nursing Home, and later relocated to North Carolina. There he continued to work and provide for his children. In the early 2000’s he returned back to Staten Island. During that time Samuel cared for his father and took part in many business ventures with his close friends. The rest of his time was spent working construction and providing security for well-known establishments.

Samuel was born and raised in a Christian home, his mother was a passionate missionary for the Lord Jesus. This helped start the building of his spiritual foundation. In his later years, he took a different path to find the knowledge of “self” and joined “the nation of gods in earth” commonly known as Five Percenters. However, in his last days, he acknowledged Christianity and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Known to most as “Sincere,” Samuelenjoyed his family, and was rarely ever seen without them. Loving and protecting was his calling. He was known in this world for his humongous heart and undeniable strength.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, Samuel Beatty was called home, and received in Glory. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Shameika Smith, Danté Heard, Daniesha “Beatty” Heard, Bevelyn Beatty, Barsheem “Beatty” Heard, Azzaria “Beatty” White, Taysha “Beatty” Heard, Sanajay Beatty, Egypt Beatty, Xavier “Beatty” Thomas, and Samea Beatty; three brothers: Leander Beatty Jr., Jeffery Beatty, Richard Beatty; five sisters: Barbara  Harper, Helen Harper, Jacqueline Beatty (deceased), Lydia Beatty, Mildred Denise Beatty, Margaret Victoria Beatty; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
