Gerard Decker Harris, Jr

Gerard Decker Harris Jr, a loving and caring father died of blood cancer on November 4, 2019 at the age of 47 in Sloan Kettering Hospital. 

Gerard was born in Staten Island, New York July 13, 1972 to Gerard Decker Harris Sr. and Roslyn Johnson. He completed his GED at Concord High School. A hard working man, Gerard chose construction and maintenance for his occupation. Gerard was a great family man and loving father of three children Casandra, Devon, and Anieice. Also a great grandfather to lovely grandchildren Adrian, Giovanni, and Yahweh.

Gerard was a socially active man who was deeply involved with family activities for the majority of his life. He enjoyed partying, eating out, and birthdays. His family and friends will always remember him as an outgoing family oriented type of person. He loved to play sports, play games and go out with the kids for shopping or for fun.

Gerard is survived by his mother Roslyn Johnson. His daughters, Casandra and Anieice. His son Devon. He is preceded in death by his father Gerard Harris Sr.
