Martha Holman, 86, Died on February 22, 2024.

Martha was born on January 22, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY to Parents the Late Henry Grant and Ethel Pious- Grant. She graduated from Clara Barton High School in Brooklyn, NY where she studied Nursing. In the early 80’s she moved to Staten Island, NY. Martha worked at United Cerebral Palsy as a Residential Specialist Supervisor for more than 26 years until her retirement.

Martha accepted the Lord at a very early age and re-dedicated her life in 1990. As a teen Martha loved to dance and sing. One of her favorite songs was Amazing Grace and His eyes was on the Sparrow. Martha loved to cook and bake homemade cakes with lots of butter.

Martha continued to grieve the loss of her oldest son, the Late Dwayne Holman up until her passing. She was a great mother, grandmother and great grandma who loved her family. She was very involved in her church at First Central Baptist Church where she sung in the choir and loved to be a part of the nurse’s board in the church for many years. Martha later joined Brighten Heights Reform Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Martha always made sure she watched church services on Facebook faithfully every Sunday. Martha also enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City to play the penny machines and will always be remembered as the queen of scratch offs.

Martha leaves to mourn her daughters Jacqueline, Michelle, and son James. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, extended family, and friends.
