Mark Edward Goode
October 17,1966- January 4,2017


Mark was the son of Dolores Carter Goode and the late Berkeley E. Goode. He was born at St Vincent's Hospital Staten Island and lived his entire life on Staten Island.
Mark attended PS 44,I.S.72,McKee High School and Port Richmond High School.
Mark was employed by the New York City Housing Authority, and the NYC Parking Violations Bureau. Mark retired in 2002.

Mark enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved music, family gatherings, and cooking out . Mark was a grill master making excellent dinners on summer sundays for his family.Mark also enjoyed caring for the lawn at his mothers home and making sure the yard was in order weekly.
In the summers Mark enjoyed going to the beach and boardwalk at Coney Island where he could relax and listen to the DJ's play classic dance music. Mark loved a party.

Mark had a special place in his heart for family and long time friends. He loved his mother Dolores who gave him unconditional love. Mark affectionately called his grand daughters Buttercup and Butterfly. They called him Grandpa Mork. They can't pronounce Mark yet.
Mark lived on Andros Ave the majority of his life and had strong ties to the neighborhood. He loved his childhood friends and reminisced often about the block parties that used to be held there.

Mark was not an very religious person but he believed in God.
Mark is survived by his loving mother Dolores,sons Keith and Russell, grand daughters Railey, and Kyyah, his sister Sheree,Uncle Russell and  a host of cousins .Mark also leaves behind dozens of lifelong friends who through the years became family to him.

Mark will be whole-heartedly missed but God took him because he knows best. May he rest peacefully in Gods arms and when that summer breeze whispers by know that his spirit is here with you.
Mark we love you and will meet again on the other side.
