Frances Blount age: 86yrs old died of heart complications on October 29, 2017 in Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island, New York.

Frances Blount was born on December 16, 1930 in New York, N.Y. to Mary and Richard Graham and she graduated from Downstate Hospital in 1978 with a GED Diploma. In 1978 she accepted a position as a baby nurse aide at Downstate Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. and worked there for 25yrs. Until she retired.

Frances Blount was a great family woman and a loving mother. She married James Blount in 1949 and the couple had seven children together.

Frances Blount was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in taking care of her family for the majority of her life. She enjoyed reading GOD’s Word , traveling, and visiting family. Her Family and friends will always remember her as a loving, kind and beautiful person.

Frances Blount is survived by her four children: Leroy, Leona, James and Jeffrey. A host of her brothers: Richard Graham, Robert Graham. A host of nieces and nephews; grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

Frances Blount  is proceeded in death by her husband James Blount, daughter Patricia and two sons Kevin and Craige.

A funeral is scheduled for Friday on November 10, 2017, at Stradford Funeral Home 1241 Castleton Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10310. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mrs. Frances Blount’s Life.
